Art In Dialogue: Curatorial Assistant
from september 2017 to april 2018, i worked alongside other curatorial assistants to create Art In Dialogue at the Oakland University Art Gallery. our goal was to create an environment where anyone could engage with art, even if they didn’t think they could before. all eight of us oversaw the exhibition’s creation and success.
i personally was in charge our social media campaign and deinstallation of the exhibition. i also worked with different groups on campus to create descriptions for a few art pieces by using VTS. throughout, i aided in the completion various tasks, such as meeting minutes, reports, and grant proposals.
