American Student Dental Association: Meetings and Education Coordinator

as of february 2022, i have been working alongside a small team to help coordinate multiple events for the members of a non-profit national organization. two of our biggest events, Annual Session and National Leadership Conference, see a combined total of over 1000 attendees per year, and feature a plethora of educational programming, networking opportunities, and the latest in dental technology for the future leaders of dentistry.

in my role, i serve as the liaison between the planning committees and our speakers; completing outreach and contract negotiations, communicating presentation requirements, securing travel details, reviewing key presentation materials, and much more. i also serve as the liaison between the planning committees and attendees, overseeing registration using our association management system, answering common questions, and working with the marketing team to create cohesive, attention-grabbing, and informative marketing plans for our events.

i also coordinate several events each year for our national leaders, ensuring travel and hotel logistics are complete and that the needs of each meeting and attendee are met.
